I wasn’t born with a silver spoon or investor backing. In 2018, my family and I were living day-to-day without a fixed roof. In those nights — coding in the dark, in borrowed spaces — I made a decision: to build a platform that people could truly own. That seed became MY.TOWN.
I started with basic HTML, teaching myself line by line. By 2019, I launched my first real project: STAPP (SteelTradersAPP). Then came 40+ experimental “MyTown” sites like MyMargate and MyJozi — raw attempts that proved one thing: people needed tools that connected them locally, transparently, and securely.
Post-COVID, I co-built QLAPP with Hanco Ferreira and delivered Koepel Mega ZIP bookings — still running under MY.TOWN today. Each idea evolved into a division: MY.CONNECT, MY.INVENTORY, MY.POS, MY.POWER. Survival mode became an ecosystem.
By 2024, MY.SECURE launched with 1,500+ members, validating the platform model. And by 2025, MY.TOWN stepped into true scale: NFT-backed founder shares and strategic partnerships.
MY.TOWN is more than software. It’s built on values forged in fire: the 5 P’s of Life — Purpose, Passion, Perseverance, Precision, and Payment. They carried me through nights coding in the dark, and they now guide every decision: from licensing deals to investor protection.
This isn’t about unicorn hype. It’s about building capitalism with a conscience — ownership, integrity, and impact aligned. When you hold a MY.TOWN share, you’re not betting on a founder; you’re part of a movement.
