2. User and Vendor Obligations

  • Users must provide accurate information during registration and transactions.
  • Vendors are responsible for delivering products and services as advertised.
  • MY.MARKET may remove listings or suspend accounts for non-compliance with these terms.

3. Membership and Payments

  • Membership fees are non-refundable and billed on a recurring basis.
  • MY.MARKET reserves the right to change membership tiers or pricing with 30 days’ notice.

4. Vendor Responsibilities

  • Vendors must comply with POPIA and other applicable laws regarding user data.
  • MY.MARKET is not liable for disputes between vendors and users, but we may mediate at our discretion.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payments are processed through secure gateways (e.g., Yoco).
  • All transaction fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
  • MY.MARKET takes 10% commission on all vendor sales for platform maintenance.

6. Refund Policy

Our refund policy is outlined above. Refund requests are subject to compliance with the return terms.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content on MY.MARKET, including logos and trademarks, is the property of MY.TOWN.
  • Unauthorized use of content is strictly prohibited.

8. Liability Limitations

  • MY.MARKET is not responsible for delays, losses, or damages arising from third-party services.
  • Users and vendors agree to indemnify MY.MARKET from any claims resulting from their actions on the platform.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

  • All personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and POPIA guidelines.
  • Vendors are responsible for the privacy of data they collect from users.

10. Dispute Resolution

  • In the event of a dispute, MY.MARKET will attempt to mediate in good faith.
  • If unresolved, disputes will be subject to South African laws and jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions

MY.MARKET reserves the right to modify these terms with 30 days’ notice. Users will be notified via email or platform announcements.
